Rails Thoughts

Welcome to my about page! :-)

My name is Mathieu Rousseau, I’m French senior software engineer. I graduated in 2003. I’ve been working with Java/JEE/SOA technologies since then and I am now a experienced Software Architect and Team Leader.

What about the .com.br ?? Well… I currently live and work in Brazil ;-)

Rails? I’ve always stayed tuned about new frameworks and technologies, and when I discovered Rails, it was a big shock for me. I’m still learning, and to be honest, I really should spend some time really learning ruby language…  But I’m having some much fun with Rails that I think I’ll just learn using rails.
And that’s what Rails is about for me: fun, fast, easy, ready to use, really OO!!

So this blog is all about rails and rails related subjects: git, development environment, and more… Basically, I’ll post here all the kind of thoughts, tip, tricks, discoveries, articles that I’ll be able to extract from my projects using rails.
